Dr Tebogo Steve Kekana was multi-talented and lingual musician who had a nice bold voice that cracked your earbuds. He just finished his Doctor of Philosophy on 13 November 2020 and also appointed as member of council in March 2021 by MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture Hon. Thandi Moraka. His funeral was accorded by the President of South Africa Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa.

Dr Tebogo Steve Kekana was the 5th son from 6 siblings in his family, Bra Steve had a great relationship with his siblings described by the brother. "Me and Steve we had a very tight and prestigious relationship, he was like my besty even though I was older than him and we shared a lot of things together as well."
Added that "he asked me to take care of our little sister Lydia and protect her. Steve's dreams will continue to come true, a mall will be built at Zebediela Merageng will be named after him and the studio to be done as they nourish the talent of musicians who aspire to be like him".
