On Tuesday in the province of Limpopo, Polokwane Municipality at Library Gardens Auditorium, Limpopo Arts Movement holding hands with Department of Sports, Arts & Culture and Office of the Premier,
hosted legendary mementos of the late musician who passed away last Thursday due to " Sugar Diabetes and later experienced stroke that lead to his death not COVID-19, that is being said on social media" quoted Paledi Malatji. 

Leaving 5 beautiful and handsome children, also wive Ntsiki. Steve is described as one person who was humble and spoke with everyone as if he meet you before. He would direct you from where you are to where he is, actually he knew the streets names and if you took a wrong direction he will tell you you're at the wrong location he was like "Siri the navigator". Yes we are requesting honorable Premier to name one of the halls after the legendary because there's no use to carry on using the names of Jack Botes as we don't know that Jack neither know that Civic. We want those names to be changed."

Hinted that "Our worry at the LAM there are some people roaming around social media using the emblem of Steve Kekana Foundation those people never engaged the family, according to the family. They don't know those people who organized that service, even as the lady who is doing bookings at Library Gardens don't recognize them. We are very disappointed because we want team work, those people who supposed to come through LAM and see how we can join hands but with that happening we call it sabotage those people where working against us but using our information."

Dr Tebogo Steve Kekana was multi-talented and lingual musician who had a nice bold voice that cracked your earbuds. He just finished his Doctor of Philosophy on 13 November 2020 and also appointed as member of council in March 2021 by MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture Hon. Thandi Moraka. His funeral was accorded by the President of South Africa Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa.

Dr Tebogo Steve Kekana was the 5th son from 6 siblings in his family, Bra Steve had a great relationship with his siblings described by the brother. "Me and Steve we had a very tight and prestigious relationship, he was like my besty even though I was older than him and we shared a lot of things together as well."

 Added that "he asked me to take care of our little sister Lydia and protect her. Steve's dreams will continue to come true, a mall will be built at Zebediela Merageng will be named after him and the studio to be done as they nourish the talent of musicians who aspire to be like him".

Cited that they are very sad about the passing of their father and it was too soon to have left them. Describing him "he was a book worm and he will want everyone to respect elders and speak appropriately with everyone. I love the song Iphupho and world wide anthem Take your love and keep it". Shared that they will always remember him, memories experienced with her father she touched on we will spend the whole day narrating.
