Star Sign Champions of Denzel Annual Kasi Tournament
Floating Trophies and medals(silver for 2nd run-up, bronze for man/coach of tournament and gold for champs)
Denzel Annual Kasi Tournament began few years ago as they had under 13 athletes. When Daniel and Maphuti Makhafola established this initiative as the sole aim is to promote the youth to participate in sports and not be more focused on substance abuse.

Matsi stated that in that morning they kick-started with boot-camps, aerobics and massages, to maintain healthy lifestyle, as we are living in difficult times of COVID-19.

Star Sign vs Citizen
On June 16 at Seshego Stadium teams participated on Denzel Annual Kasi Tournament. The Queens fc, Lions of Limpopo fc, Python fc, Tau Tau f.c., Star Sign fc, Citizen fc, Seshego XI and Polokwane Galaxy. They were competing for massive R15 000 which is shared in this manner: R10 000 for 1st runner-up and R5 000 for 2nd runner-up.
FIRST ROUND
- The Queens started business of the day by walloping Lions of Limpopo through netting a goal to zero.
- Python it was swept under the bus by Tau Tau, as they left on a clean sheet also Tau Tau took a lead and still retained with it's 2 goals.
- Star Sign suprised Citizen at the last minute by claiming victory of 3 goals for 2, eliminated from the tournament at first round.
- Seshego XI Mavutsa the show stopper, has made his mark by doing his hard-tricks when he scored 3 goals and Kagiso to make their victory of 5 goals. Polokwane Galaxy scored 3 goals with the help of Kgaogelo and Sipho.
He was awarded with a trophy of man of the match
Katlego "Mavutsa" Maruma cited that this is his first trophy ever since he started playing football and it brought more joy. "Trust in yourself that everything is possible" this are his closing quotes.
Star Sign vs The Queens
SEMI-FINALSThe Queens played their match against Star Sign, left on a clean sheet. They went head to head straight penalty shoot out. The Queens scored 4 and Star Sign took the whole hand of goals
Tau Tau came with alot of pressure but Sehego XI came with tricks, on full time both teams equalised.
They saw each other in the area, even-though it was rough Tau got mushed by 3-4 more excitement took over.Excitement of advancement to finals.
Masters match was played to give finalists a bit of time to rest
FINALS
It was all over at Seshego Diamonds! Star Sign have set a new record at Denzel Tournament going unbeaten away from across the entire tournament by battering Seshego XI from being crowned champions of #DenzelAnnualKasiTournament.

Seshego XI H.C. Motlatso Maredi instanced "I can't say I am disappointed , it was a tough game limited time. But then again they are a strong team. I'm very happy with how my boys played I think it's a fair results. With R5000 we are going to use it in the team for necessary things needed."

He interjected that "I work with Maponyane. The referee didn't award them with penalty, yet gave them free kick. I'm glad that Ace converted it. I'm extremely excited Star Sign when we see a trophy we know that we are going to fight."
