Play-offs : Semi-finals got hectic and tight

 

Match of Mathabatha Success vs Black Pirates

Four teams went head to head for that spot to the finals and unfortunately we can't all be winners, yet again two teams got knocked out and last men standing faced each other in the finals.

SEMI-FINALS SCORE UPDATES
FIRST GAME

Mafefe Lakers first 15 minutes they had an opportunity and they scored first, meanwhile EL Cameroon where in a lot of pressure to shoot their shot. EL-Cameroon cleared the ball and with tactics from Lakers they kept pressurizing EL-Cameroon by scoring 4 more goals ahead, also their penalty gave them massive 5goals. EL-Cameroon gained their strength put effort and they netted a goal. The defense from both teams had alot of strength, unfortunately it was the end of the road they couldn't advance to the finals.
In this match almost 3 yellow cards and corner kicks also off-sides occurred.







Head Coach of EL-Cameroon Peter Mogaramedi cited that he feels okay that they didn't go to the finals, they made amendments where they could but it was a tough game. "We will go back to the drawing board as performance from the players it was great, it's the first time we play".

Mathabatha Success vs Black Pirates

Success on the first half came with a lot of pressure against Black Pirates, also it was hectic and tight in the area, saw chance to score two goals. Loose balls found it's way in the box and Black Pirates equalized with 2 goals. Later when comfort has attacked Black Pirates, Mathabatha Success striked on the last hour and shot their shoot to take a lead of 3. Black Pirates made magnificent save down low to deny Mathabatha Success a free kick.

Motaung instanced that he feels good that the play was satisfying, yet "they missed a lot of opportunities and they had poor finish from the strikers". The team was soaked in a pool of tears and sorrow when they realised that they will not have that opportunity to wear that medal or hold a trophy eventually scoop that gear.

Tshepo Rakoma died a brutal death

Image: Social Media Kibi Josias Leboho who is 34 years old assertedly shot and executed his partner in the parking area of Polokwane at Shoprite Supermarket, on corner Grobler and Landros Mare Street 6th May 2021 (Thursday afternoon). Bullets perforated her body, she was found inside a motor vehicle in the parking area, it's avowed that when Leboho arrived at the shopping centre, an argument rose between them and he took a firearm and shot her countlesly, eventually she died on the spot. Polokwane Softball League road to the quarter finals

Thabang Letsoalo the Chairman of Polokwane Softball Association is very proud of the progress of teams because this initiative is all about developing teams in the communities and nurture their skills and talents for them to be better players.They are happy with the level of play and the improvement of the teams. Since the league has started there are no injuries from any teams, because all the teams have prepared very well, meanwhile Mentz Spartans lost their 2 games with mercy rule.  They hosted 1st playoffs on the 13th December and the game that was supposed to happen on the 16th was postponed due to rain, and 'the pitch was not playable'.They had playoffs on the 20th December last Sunday at Seshego. Match between Moletlane Texas and Seshego Raider s Limpopo Softball Association is yet in another season of Super League Campaign where "Fight for Survival" makes teams to toss and turn, as-well as shiver and mumble to be on top to qualify for the finals. This Super League has kick-started on the 27 December 2020, unfortunately due to restrictions of COVID-19 pandemic they had to pause a bit until resumption on 22 March 2021.   Match between Black Beads vs Fast Feet Development Centre Under 11 (Image: Dorothy Mokoena) Fast Feet DC wrapped up their game at Seshego Stadium Zone 1 against Black Beats on a clean sheet, as they shared points both on 0-0. Friendly game in preparation of the tournament to happen next month. Fast Feet DC required treatment and the battle on the middle field, with slim chances to net.
