Minister of Tourism Mamoloko Kubayi Ngubane

On Thursday Minister Mamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane alongside MEC of LEDET Thabo Mokone and other stakeholders visited two industrial sites in Nkowankowa situated within Greater Tzaneen Municipality, those sites are Miya Roofing and Komkor Kitchen. This initiative is part of the Tourism Recovery Plan and also to outline the Equity Fund.


At Miya Roofing they specialise in Roof  Sheeting, machines being used are cutting the sheets in finer designs that of your desires, then later they paint the sheets to make them look great and amazing, yet you can still use them on their original colour below.

At Komkor Kitchens C.C we got to see different cupboards of kitchens and bedroom they make. Mr J.P said that some companies come to their factory to take the cupboards and they design their own thing. They have 21 permanent employees 8 males and 13 females in the factory.

He spoke about rejuvenescence of Tourism aswell as economy,it's importance in Townships and recited that they are planning to make Tzaneen one of the tourists attraction sides so that you can experience more of the mountanious locations in the district.

She mentioned that they want to see establishments comply with the rules and regulations of COVID-19. They don't want people to complain mostly about establishment that are not complience friendly, yet they want tourism to be of good to everyone because "word of mouth" turns to kill a-lot of establishments aswell they don't have shields and PPE yet provided to them. People must wash their hands using soap/sanitisers and other rules adherence.

The beneficiaries that came they have to go training, and it's benefiting everyone. They hope that when this initiative has started, want to show them support at all costs.

Tshepo Rakoma died a brutal death

Image: Social Media Kibi Josias Leboho who is 34 years old assertedly shot and executed his partner in the parking area of Polokwane at Shoprite Supermarket, on corner Grobler and Landros Mare Street 6th May 2021 (Thursday afternoon). Bullets perforated her body, she was found inside a motor vehicle in the parking area, it's avowed that when Leboho arrived at the shopping centre, an argument rose between them and he took a firearm and shot her countlesly, eventually she died on the spot. Polokwane Softball League road to the quarter finals

Thabang Letsoalo the Chairman of Polokwane Softball Association is very proud of the progress of teams because this initiative is all about developing teams in the communities and nurture their skills and talents for them to be better players.They are happy with the level of play and the improvement of the teams. Since the league has started there are no injuries from any teams, because all the teams have prepared very well, meanwhile Mentz Spartans lost their 2 games with mercy rule.  They hosted 1st playoffs on the 13th December and the game that was supposed to happen on the 16th was postponed due to rain, and 'the pitch was not playable'.They had playoffs on the 20th December last Sunday at Seshego. Match between Moletlane Texas and Seshego Raider s Limpopo Softball Association is yet in another season of Super League Campaign where "Fight for Survival" makes teams to toss and turn, as-well as shiver and mumble to be on top to qualify for the finals.
