Big Chilli endures on fueling his goals, and blows heat waves in the Basketball court.

                                                BIG CHILLI PLAYING FOR NM STATE

Tshilidzi Nephawe commonly known as "Big Chilli" center Basketball player from Limpopo Thohoyandou, played for teams like Premium Water, NM States, Kumamoto Volters, Sendai 89ers, Bambitious Nara, Fukushima, recently joined Hiroshima Dragon Flies and he is 2.9 metres (6 foot) tall.

A week ago during interview with Kwena Moabelo on Capricorn Fm's Sports Precinct cited where it all started, instanced that he was a Football player before going to Basketball. Although evolution of schools took over, got exposed to Basketball joined Limpopo Basketball Association trifled in national divisions and later scooped scholarship to study abroad USA, to finish high school as-well as tertiary, yet completed tertiary in 2015.

Big Chilli the Mexican food lover, admirer of nature, a hiker and enjoys visiting waterfalls. He likes his hometown for "how beautiful it is and that everything can grow all the fruits we have and also wonderful nature."

Motivation behind Chilli "...is to keep getting better and can be able to show the kids back home that anything is possible and them too can be whatever they want to be in life."

  Incredible Slam Dunker has no plans to play in RSA, unless there's stability in development and finances upon BL. In terms of talent nurturing 2years ago (2019) was in RSA saw few athletes from Malamulele "trying to help them" with development and opportunities he had.


Tshilidzi alluded his accomplishments "...it's more than basketball, it's about learning different cultures and also developing as a person beyond sports". Mostly learned how to deal with different people, cultures, players and coaches. Every sport has it's ups and downs, designated a million times he felt like giving up, due to injuries and other factors.
What kept him going was to remember where you come from, "...you just gotta keep going same like anything in life, you can't just give up because stuff is hard".
Nephawe chose this sport as profession because he had goals, where "...the main goal was to make it a career and use basketball to pay for my school through scholarship".

Chilli loves this sport because "...once you start playing you forget about everything that's going on in the world and just be so focused on competing and winning the game." In his family a person who gives him inspiration, strength and motivation to keep blowing the court on fire is his mother, because she has been supportive unto him in everything "...it makes me wanna succeed more so I can make her proud".

Basketeer joining Hiroshima Dragon Flies interpolated: "I am grateful to have such an opportunity to Hiroshima Dragon Flies. We are going to fight hard this season, so we hope you will support us from our fans an partner companies. I would like to end the season positive, so I'm going to have a hot support". He will be playing until end season for Hiroshima Dragon Flies.
