Mahuma Productions and Family mourns the passing of Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa

Mr Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa who was a multi-talented in the fraternity of arts tributes are still flooding social media after the death of veteran actor,radio broadcaster,theatre legend and media mogul.

His death was confirmed by his son Matome Rapetsoa,on Tuesday evening.

He issued a short statement on Facebook said "it is with great sadness to announce the passing of our father,brother and colleague Mr Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa."Bra Paul" passed away today at 18:56.May your wonderful soul rest in peace Mokwena". He didn't give further information.

Bra Paul swifted the radio, television,stages go several decades,as he was producing, performing & directing in major productions,with many people hailing him as "the father of township theatre" in the province of Limpopo and beyond.He headed the drama department at SABC radio station Thobela FM.Some of produced & created dramas like Get down.

On Skeem Saam he played the role of Josias in the popular SABC series.He mentored alot of artists.

People who were close to him and beyond describe him as a kind man, resilient and patient when it comes to nurturing the talent,and he can spot talent when he sees one.


Elza-Blak who is one of the actors at Mahuma Productions- expressed and described Bra Paul as " a strong tower,man of passion, determination,drive.Man who is a creator and believer and a man who can turn a rough diamond into a bright stone".

Tshepo Rakoma died a brutal death

Image: Social Media Kibi Josias Leboho who is 34 years old assertedly shot and executed his partner in the parking area of Polokwane at Shoprite Supermarket, on corner Grobler and Landros Mare Street 6th May 2021 (Thursday afternoon). Bullets perforated her body, she was found inside a motor vehicle in the parking area, it's avowed that when Leboho arrived at the shopping centre, an argument rose between them and he took a firearm and shot her countlesly, eventually she died on the spot. Thabang Letsoalo the Chairman of Polokwane Softball Association is very proud of the progress of teams because this initiative is all about developing teams in the communities and nurture their skills and talents for them to be better players.They are happy with the level of play and the improvement of the teams. Since the league has started there are no injuries from any teams, because all the teams have prepared very well, meanwhile Mentz Spartans lost their 2 games with mercy rule.  They hosted 1st playoffs on the 13th December and the game that was supposed to happen on the 16th was postponed due to rain, and 'the pitch was not playable'.They had playoffs on the 20th December last Sunday at Seshego.
